Despite the fact that I ran the script with $disableWindowsFirewall = 0, the firewall appeared to be disabled in the security dashboard. I'm not sure if this is a Windows problem or if it's due to other settings that were changed.
When I check the firewall status in the control panel, it indicates it's on even though it's not in the security dashboard.
I attempted to only run the pieces of code that enable the firewall, but just got a lot of errors. I tried resetting the firewall to its default settings and restarting a lot of related services, but nothing worked. Clicking "Turn on" in the security dashboard also doesn't work.
I'm not sure if this is a security issue because I'm using a desktop computer and an ethernet cable, but it appears to be an error or something that isn't documented or warned about.
