Let me know if this is something else than "Code Health".
Testing in the field with potential users I recognized some confusion with the pane for changing base map layers.
After choosing e.g. the satellite base map, the pane just stays in place. Users were consistently waiting for something to happen and didn't know what to do when nothing happened. I would suggest to either make the pane disappear automatically after having selected the base map layer, or to implement an "OK"-button or an "X"-button to make the pane go away.
Thanks for the consideration.
Best, Jonas

@jo-spek "Code health" pertains to the Kotlin code itself. Improvements to the UI would be considered "Feature requests", I've updated accordingly. Thanks for the input!
