Let's create a few milestones and which features to be implemented.

What do we want/need for:

  1. a publication?
  2. an alpha release of a commercial product

  1. a publication?
  • Most of the results for round robins 2 and 3 are calculated. Need some time to write the paper.
  • Would be nice to have an image of one of this rooms with rays in it and a bit of the Blender interface.
  • This first publication would be a technical paper (possibly in Applied Acoustics)
  • Montecarlo simulation in a second paper, which will be more novel in terms of analysis. For this I need that c++ objects to be useful for pickle.
  1. an alpha release of a commercial product
  • function to find the rays of a given order intercepting a receiver (I have a matlab version).
  • Make c++ objects useful to pickle, so we can save the simulation.
  • This is also needed for Montecarlo simulation, which will be also nice to have.
  • The user should be able to interact / see results on the interface. Or some other way. Seeing acoustical parameters, decay curves, reflectograms and also the absorption coefficient in a graph instead of only values.
