Reduce time of completion for the first Spec?

According to the tutorials, for a greenfield project, I basically end up with 60 tasks and the whole thing takes around hours before it completes. Would it be wise to scaffold the application with bare minimum before the first spec is created? In that case, we can basically treat specs as functional requirements.

spec driven development has a bit more of a waterfall mindset to it - designing and thinking more up front. Are you trying to map agile to it directly? Not a great fit with spec-kit IMO.

I understand what you mean but it would be nice to leverage speckit for smaller and atomic specs as well esp. for greenfield projects. I have not tried it out in a brownfield project yet
