I am fond of Atlassian MCP sse server, in Claude Code auth works perfectly using authenticate feature. In copilot CLI I cannot authenticate, there is no prompt etc

Are you saying that there is no OAuth flow to allow you to obtain a token to work with the Atlassian MCP server?

Exactly, the flow cannot be initiated for unknown reasons.
