Can you send or attach an openexr picture where this crash happens? I've tried both multiview and multipart OpenEXRs and they all worked fine for me.

Hi Gonzalo!
I double checked this issue and here is an update. I try it also on win10. This update is for win10,
I have a multi channel exr sequence with custom aovs inside from Houdini Redshift. If files in the sequence more than 30 this issue happens.
Here some details about selecting channels: All working fine when i selecting channels that are defaults aov (refraction, speculars and so on), but when i start selecting custom aovs, after selecting 2-3 times, mrv2 is freezing and crashes. Also getting crashes immedately after open this sequence. So mrv2 is getting unstable with it.
I send you a exr file via gmail to reproduce this issue.
You need to create a sequence from it. More details about it will be in the mail. Thank you!

It is a current bug in the multithread handling of the OpenEXR library, which gets triggered mainly with heavy compression types like DWAA/B.
I am currently compiling a version on all platforms for testing.
