Steps to Reproduce

1. Tried installing sentry sdk on nextjs project
2. installation failed, after selecting project from browser

Expected Result

Would have been installed

Hey @Rishabh567168 I asked internally if anyone has come across this before but so far we're not aware of a problem with $react. After a quick search, I found npm/cli#5730 which looks very similar. Some users report things work after deleting node_modules and the lock file. Might be worth a try. I don't think that this is a wizard issue per sé. However, if the problem keeps persisting and a regular npm install @sentry/nextjs doesn't produce the same error, let me know.

Ah, one thing I could come up with is that you have a prepare script or similar that ends up running and throwing when we install the package.
