I purchased a Cursor Business account yestoday using my email [email protected]. After completing the purchase, I accessed my settings and noticed an option to invite others. I assumed this would allow my colleagues to use the account under my subscription for free. However, I later discovered that I was unknowingly charged $767.95 for these invitations.

I was not informed about this charge beforehand, and I request a full refund for this amount. Please process the refund as soon as possible.

Looking forward to your prompt response.

We at Cursor sincerely apologize for this mishap.

However, under our T&C it clearly states that the business account is not for free access via those you invite. Therefore, all we can offer at this time is to cancel the subscription for you to prevent further charges. If you would like us to cancel your subscription, please let me know at your earliest convenience.

Best,

Phil

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with an unexpected charge on my account. Your system prompted me to invite others without any indication of fees, yet I was later charged without my consent. This lack of transparency is unacceptable.

I demand a full refund of these unauthorized charges immediately. Please confirm once the refund is processed.

Dear yang-yk,

Thank you for contacting Cursor. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. After reviewing your case, we’ve determined that the issue in question is the result of user action rather than company error. Our Terms & Conditions clearly outline the criteria for what constitutes a faulty charge, and in this circumstance, the charge does not qualify for removal.

We understand your frustration and regret any lack of clarity you may have experienced. Please rest assured that we are continuously working to improve our communication and ensure all users are fully informed before making transactions. If you have any further questions, feel free to let us know.

Sincerely,
The Cursor Team

I demand a refund for unauthorized charges. No payment notifications or password prompts were provided during the invitation process, and this is not a small amount. This lack of transparency raises serious concerns about fraudulent practices. Please resolve this immediately.

What kind of shit customer service is this. @yang-yk are you pursuing legal action? This is actually unacceptable. Good luck!
