I wanted to share an idea for a feature that I think would be super helpful. In Android Studio, when you double-click on the file tab, all the extra stuff like the sidebar and terminal disappear, giving you more space for coding - super useful on smaller screens. Double-clicking again brings everything back.

Would be awesome to have this in Cursor IDE. It'd make a big difference for those of us who need to make the most of our screen space.

For now, I'm using this AutoHotKey script as a workaround, in case someone needs it.

#IfWinActive ahk_exe cursor.exe ; For Cursor
~LButton::
    KeyWait, LButton
    if (A_PriorHotkey = "~LButton" and A_TimeSincePriorHotkey < 400)
    {
        Send, ^b  ; Toggle sidebar
        Sleep, 10
        Send, ^j ; Toggle terminal (alternative to Ctrl+`)
    }
return

#IfWinActive ; Reset context sensitivity
