I just got an Azpen A1050 tablet. It's a quad-core 1.3ghz device, with a 10.1" screen, 16GB internal storage, and 1GB RAM running Android 6.01 Marshmallow. It can take an up to 32GB MicroSD card as external storage. The eBooks I want FBReader to read are on the card I added which I previous used with another tablet.
When I tell FBReader to add /Storage/extsd/ to the places it will look for books, it fails with a Permission Denied error. Various other Android apps, like the VLC media player, have no problems accessing directories on the card and adding them as places to look, so this looks like an FBReader for Android bug.
