  • PTHR ID & PTN node:

GO:0006457 | protein folding | IBA with Q8IIK3 , Q8ILM0 , PTN000116298 , Q8I3I0

  • Sequences with problematic annotation (ID + gene/protein name):

https://www.pombase.org/gene/SPCC553.04

WD repeat containing cyclophilin family peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase Cyp9

  • Type of Issue: Erroneous source or erroneous propagation, or other issue

Proapgation.

Not all PP c-s-trasns isomerases are involved in protein folding.

all of  Q8IIK3 , Q8ILM0 , PTN000116298 , Q8I3I0
are from a single plasmodium paper. They don't appear to be ortholog of cyp9 (which is much longer and has a beta propeller/ WD repeat region.
(I suspect it is involved in splicing but evidence is weak)

  • Add the label 'high priority' if needed. Generally high priority issues affect a lot of proteins, and annotations are incorrect (as opposed to just imprecise).
