We'd like to use version 2 of the AWS SDK to scale ECS tasks.

There's a separate issue for the ECS client, which is related:

This includes usages of AmazonAutoScaling client in:

  • EC2Scaler
  • RunCompactionTasks & lambda
  • System test drivers to run tasks
