Ideas for the Become a Publisher page

(Thoughts from the room at a session at the midterm meetings.)

There were suggestions that:

• The page is unfriendly, as it immediately refers to GBIF policy on endorsement etc. Could the "First, please see..." box be moved to the top?

• Could the page be reworded to be more friendly?

• Could some text for citizen scientists be added?

• What about offering to contact institutions on behalf of a researcher who is on this page? Some might be put off by a head of faculty or similar contact on their organization's page.

Another suggestion I received (but not during the midterm meetings) is: when institutions are in GRSciColl, it would be nice to be able to select them in order to pre-fill the publisher template. Does it make sense?
