<title>Design Systems</title>
<description><p>Of late, in my practice, I’ve been working on the challenge of implementing design systems. At AB, we’ve just over half a dozen technology teams serving different aspects of the business. In the corporate and enterprise technology teams we have about 800 people working on various enterprise products at any given time with hundreds of products happening simultaneously.</p>

<h4 id="paperless">Paperless Initiative - Going Digital</h4>
<p>A major component of AB's overall digital strategy, the <em>paperless initiative</em> was concieved to help employees adapt to the new digital first environment. My role included leading the research, design, project management, development and ongoing marketing of a new internal app for <strong>AB Paperless.</strong></p>
<h4 id="elevatingbrand">Elevating the Internal Brand</h4>
<p>I work with stakeholders from across marketing, technology, operations and other businesses to surface work and create new tools that elevate the brand. I Integrated metrics from Salesforce Pardot and Eventbrite for our communications and events providing new user metrics from ongoing improvement as well as better executive oversight. I also coordinate regularly with design and development teams to produce new digital learning materials and sites.</p>

<h4 id="elevatingbrand">Implementing Atomic Design Systems</h4>
<p>A major component of my role is working with design and product teams across AB to take an content inventory for all our internal and external facing applications, working to systemize the UI systems and then build out a living and reusable library for teams across the firm to pull from. Once complete, this system will allow for engineers, prodcut teams, and AB's businesses conducting design sprint to swiftly and seamlessly produce production quality digital assets to vet out buisness hypothesis, bringing new revenue and productivty enhancing digtial products to market faster.</p>

<title>Chicago Ideas</title>
<description><p>Timothy helped lead the redesign and launch of the new ChicagoIdeas.org. He contributed as the lead designer
and junior analyst in the production of fundraising decks for Uptake, which achieved a $1 billion-dollar valuation.
He also worked with CarCo Technologies to craft their early brand. He worked with Lightbank EIR’s through the
business model canvas, which helped CarCo achieve a multi-million- dollar exit. Additionally, Timothy gave the
design thinking keynote at Techweek KC in 2015. He was also a featured advisor at the Capital Factory’s office
hours for entrepreneurs at SXSW 2015.</p>

<title>Mojave</title>
<description><p>Timothy worked with Oscar Solis to craft the Mojave Product, to be the AirBnb of outdoor experiences. Starting with vendors operating in and
near US National Parks with his co-founder, Oscar, Timothy set out to launch a point of purchase and discovery
platform for outdoor experience vendors in the $1trillion dollar annual outdoor experiences industry. Timothy
lead product design and strategy liaising with co-founder Oscar between VC’s as they worked to establish traction
and scalability.</p>
