Reproduce tests with an arbitrary branch

PackageManager is failing in the PackageDistro tests, due to compilation errors.  If I could reproduce this locally, I would be able to change code to increase info levels and so on to see what's going on.

Is there a way to run or simulate the "Test all and report status / master / packagemanager" test suite on another version of PackageManager without making a full release?
