Describe the bug

Issue 1

  • When I add a new text block and pasted a text, the text block turns into a Paragraph block
    • Happens if Stackable text is default text block setting is disabled

Issue 2

  • When I paste a text in any part of the Text block with existing text, the existing text disappears and is replaced by the pasted text
    • Happens whether Stackable text is default text block setting is enabled or disabled

Notes:

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Issue 1:

  1. Go to Stackable setting and disable Stackable Text as Default Block setting
  2. Add a new page
  3. Add a Text block
  4. Copy any text reference and paste to Text block
  5. See that it changes to Paragraph block upon pasting text

Issue 2:

  1. Add a new page
  2. Add a Text block
  3. Add content in the text block
  4. Copy any text and paste it in the middle or any part of the Text block
  5. See that it replaces the whole Text block's content

Workaround

  1. Enable the setting "Stackable text block as default" since issue 1 doesn't show up when this is enabled (can be used on issue 1)
  2. Add text in Typography > Content instead (can be used on both issues):
