Hello, a few short questions, thanks for your answers in advance.

  1. Is this open source?
  2. If so, have you thought about starting the process to get it added to F-Droid?
  3. Would you consider allowing it to input data? (for example from Google Fit export, Mi Fit export, from GadgetBridge, etc.)

Hi there. Thanks for taking interest in my app and sorry for late reply. Without further introductions, here the answer to your questions:
1.Yes, it is open source. Fell free to modify it however you want
2. Yes, I am considering it but I discontinued the development for now(as I have "partials" to pass at university)
3. I don't have an answer to this question now. However, I will try to learn how to do it.

Thank you for the answers, Kira.

If you do not wish to put in a lot more time into the app but want to finish it, I'd suggest going for the most simple of apps. I'm not sure how Google Fit handles data, but Mi Fit exports xml files (which I can give you a sample set of), while Gadgetbridge exports a full database. For the latter, I'm pretty sure you can open an issue in their github and get help on making the two apps work together.

Honestly even without that, as long as the app works in any manner and you're up for it, I'd say going for f-droid inclusion would be a good step, since more workout apps will be good for the platform. A lot of older apps are still heavily used, since there are no alternatives, so diversity would be a boon in this case.

Thank you and I wish you all the best with university :)

Thanks for the details about syncing it with data from other apps. I will make sure to develop it as soon as possible. I didn't know about F-Droid up until this point, so I will definitely give it a go.
I wish you the best of luck :)
