Feature request: Ability to mark subsections of a craft as gathered/obtained

When making a large craft, especially one with refined ingots, etc, it can be difficult to know how much you still need to finish the craft with the tool as-is.

For instance, for the Novice's Codex, it calls for Stone Research, which calls for a Refined Simple Brick, which calls for 5 bricks, etc. But if I have the materials for 3 bricks and not 5, there's nowhere for me to jot that, so I need to keep in mind that I have 3 of 5. That seems simple, but it gets confusing since it's part of the larger whole of Refined Bricks, Refined Planks, Refined ingots, etc. Especially since some may be bought processed, instead of gathered 1 by 1. And especially if you're crafting more than one Codex.

What I'd love is to be able to have a dropdown or box next to where it states you need 5 bricks, to change it (in this example) to only needing 2 bricks. It would then change the required numbers for Potter's Mix, pebbles, etc. And similarly, I'd like to be able to mark that I have, say, 5 of the remaining 10 pebbles needed, basically making it more granular and easier to track what I do and don't have.

Absolutely.
I was thinking about that feature before, but I found it a little hard to implement considering that I want to keep the UI not too much painful to use on both desktop and Android, and at the same time unfortunately I encountered some limitations of UI toolkit in Godot Engine used by BitPlanner that do not allow me to do things I would like to do. But I will think about how I can handle it.

In crafting trees there will be shown not only target quantity but also how many of the item is available in stock, complete items will get automatically collapsed (and probably marked in some other way as well, will look at it).

Pulling the data from the game servers is not as simple as just make some request with claim/player ID. Implementing such functionality would require to create a proper connection to the game's database (which requires having a dedicated account for it with the game purchased, as you can't have multiple connections for one account AFAIK so you won't be able to use the app and play BitCraft simultaneously; and you can't pull the data from the regions that you are not in currently - yes, the BitJita's dev bought the game 9 times just to make the service running). And this will need a lot of work in the app's code. Services like BitJita do this work because that's necessary for their core functionality. Doing this for BitPlanner for just some optional feature kinda eliminates the point of using offline data snapshots for the rest of the app instead of pulling live data.

Although I don't mind to pull data from BitJita itself if they would have an API. But you need to ask them for that first.

Ok, that makes sense. It's a shame that there's no quick and easy way to grab the data from the local client, since Bitplanner is a local executable instead of a browser app.

just an idea, when working with packs, consider them as 100 of the packed resource.

This solves the problem of using an account to pull data but still doesn't justify an amount of time needed for me to learn how to actually use STDB and write a ton of code to make an optional feature for the app that doesn't use live data for everything else. IMO it would make more sense to just deprecate BitPlanner and write an app that uses live data for everything and displays as overlayed window on top of the game client for example. A complete rewrite.

I just figured out BitJita actually has an API, will eventually add pulling inventory data from there.
