We are not sure which output formats e-Internationalization supports. @katia-vistatec can you please comment?

The documentation says

New input and output formats are text/html, text/xml, application/x-xliff+xml and application/x-openoffice.

New output formats are text/html and text/xml. Note that this output format can be only used when the starting document is an HTML or XML file as well. This is a general rule when performing the round-tripping: input and output formats must be the same.

I think only one of the sentences is correct.

Further do you think we can state that e-Internationalization can produce OpenOffice? I think it would just return the original odt file without any enrichments.

About XLIFF: E-Internationalization supports XML as output format. Does this mean it supports all XML formats including XLIFF?

The outcome of this discussion will be written in e-internationalization documentation and Getting started for FREME users

Yes, I'll check.

The internalization-filter registers xliff as roundtripping format. But I'm still not sure if this is correct.
