Guys we have planned this same thing in 2015. We have created lots of resources with in detail plan for the hackathon in place as well. Even the sponsorship letter and team selection google form was also created. We can use those resources without much effort. Its already shared with FOSS gmail account drive. @AmilaE Can you look into it. After you check we can share all the details here with other members.

Hello there.
Chaminda sir informed us that an IT company is willing to offer sponsorship for the entire hackathon.He mentioned the name but I can't remember it at the moment. (@AmilaE please give its name). Hackathon must be held before April as according to the sponsor's request and we said we'll manage anyhow to conduct this on March. Chaminda sir will allocate the entire students center of NSBM Green University for the event.
Since this is an open event, we suggested a pre-hack by the end of february. So while preparing for the hackathon we must conduct a pre hack for the nsbm participants too.

We need further support from our seniors on selecting evaluation areas for the hackathon.
