Selecting the "From File" prompt in the Instrument Response field causes FLIMJ and Fiji to freeze. Activity Monitor registers Fiji as "not responding" requiring a force quit.
Barring the FLIMJ plugin and updating the java library to version 1.8.0_265 my Fiji is stock. My MacBook is also running the latest install of MacOS Monterrey 12.1.

If this isn't actually an issue and me being dense then please let me know!

Cheers

Daniel

I am seeing this same problem but am not using an M1 mac - no exception, the GUI just freezes.

macOS Big Sur
Version 11.6 (20G165)

I am not using the Fiji bundled JRE because of previous problems with JavaFX - #23.

Output of java -v:

openjdk version "1.8.0_312"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (Zulu 8.58.0.13-CA-macosx) (build 1.8.0_312-b07)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (Zulu 8.58.0.13-CA-macosx) (build 25.312-b07, mixed mode)
