Can't Open Downloaded file without saving first

When I download any file, I'm given the option to "open, save as, save".

At this point, I can see the file in downloads folder, with .crdownload extention (ie dev_sample_txt_file_10kb.txt.crdownload
If I click open, nothing happens. and the crdownload file is also deleted from the downloads folder.

If I click save, then open, it works.
If I click save as, then open, it works as well.

However, this breaks my workflow with Citrix Receiver for example. ie the Citrix Storefront downloads an ica file, and this file is then opened by Citrix Receiver client on the system. This is not working as clicking "open" does nothing.

Just want to chime in that I'm affected by this as well. I also wanna add that if a file is set to "open", if you click on the button to view the folder it's in, Dolphin (I'm in KDE Plasma) says: "WorkingDirectory= expects an absolute path or '~'"

This is due to the Edge using /tmp for this, and the flatpak not having this permission. I have to consider whether allowing Edge to access /tmp is the correct solution.

Is the correct solution, because /tmp is the correct folder when close the browser or reset the PC, we dont need those files.
