Problems running FDS simulations

Why does my computer crash and display this message whenever I run an FDS simulation?
Is there any way to solve this?

That is not an FDS error, that is an error from your operating system. Possible you have an issue with your hardware like a bad memory chip.

My only guess is you are running out of memory. Please post a very simple input file that demonstrates the problem. It's most likely the mesh or particles.
