@mcgratta Has the TMP array been populated with the average solid cell temperatures in the latest source? This is something that used to work in the old HT3D and is convenient for visualization with slices. |

The case works when I remove the HTC=0 and run with 6.9.0. It might work with 6.8.0, but I recommend you upgrade to the latest because HT3D is still being tested. |

Hi everyone,
this is my first post, so a short introduction: my name is Matteo and I'm a fire safety engineer at ESA Engineering (Florence, IT), my main occupation is FSE analysis.
I'm currently trying to improve my analyzes with heat conduction in solids, using pyrosim version 2023.3.1312 and fds version 6.8.0.
I reproduced the "ht3d_ibeam" example from the validation section and it works fine.
Following the fds user's guide, I'm now trying to modify this example by replacing the heat source (on the solid's surface) with a burner under the beam but I can't get the heat transfer inside the solid, something isn't working.
In addition to the new burner I activated the gas phase and the solid's surfaces are 3D.
Can anyone help me or direct me to useful examples to solve my problem?
