Minutes

• Lise has been talking to Chromatic (Storybook visual tester) about being part of our end to end toolchain.
  • Helping them understand weak points in their accessibility compliance detection/determination
  • They seem interested and would like to learn more.
• Discussed Summit on May 16th.
  • Started thinking about challenges that could be accomplished in the 90 minutes they'll have to work.
    • We need to finalize the list of challenges so that Evan and Aaron can tailor the 30 minutes of education that the collaborators will be given to be as helpful as possible for the challenges
• The proposed Credly badge design, by Yessel, was shown ([REQUEST] Enable LF Badges for Theme Builder contributions #786)
• Aaron, Lise, Paula and likely Cody will get together on 4/23 to go through the mentorship epic to make sure that there is enough information for a mentee to get started and to truly understand what we are asking of them.
• Lise is looking at an AI conference (https://ai4.io/) as we try to figure out how to leverage AI with our Figma-based efforts
• Cody and Paula have become FINOS Ambassadors!
  • Will be able to have preferential access to present at FINOS conferences, meetups, etc.
  • Will be able to organize local events that involve FINOS technologies
• Keith working on color updates for color generation ([REQUEST] Implement Feed organism #505)
• Lise working with internal Discover teams to show the value, and necessity, of Theme Builder
• Cody (w/ maybe Lise) presenting a Theme Builder related topic at FINOS OSFF London (2024-06-26)
  • Paula also a presenter on a non-Theme Builder topic
• FINOS sent information to Aaron on their FINOS Project Sandbox click rates. Looks like Theme Builder is in the 8% range. Most others on the page at 10-12%.

• Aaron to ask Keith to give a talk on the SDK that we can record. A "Teach the Teachers" before we help the collaborators at the summit
