Engrave would convert an existing Diagram Disable structure to a grave. It would add a tombstone bookmark label to the Diagram Disable structure and appropriate sub-diagram labels.

A toolkit API VI, Engrave.vi, would be added along with a shortcut menu action and Quick-Drop Keyboard Shortcut (QDKS).

Backfill would be the opposite of engraving. It converts a grave into a Diagram Disable structure, removing the bookmark and sub-diagram labels.

A toolkit API VI, Backfill.vi, would be added along with a shortcut menu action and QDKS.
