Following new guidance in 2025, FRA references are to be updated to FermiForward. I found references to FRA with this query:
https://github.com/search?q=repo:fermi-ad/vxpp+/%5Cb(FRA%7Cfra%7CResearch+Alliance%7CLLC%7Cllc%7CLlc)%5Cb/&type=code

FermiForward should be referred to in one of the following ways:

  • Fermi Forward Discovery Group, LLC.
  • Fermi Forward Discovery Group
  • FermiForward

Guidance for lab-related documents, including policies and procedures:

  • If you are updating existing documents that are effective Jan. 1, 2025, make sure to replace any references to Fermi Research Alliance with Fermi Forward Discovery Group.
  • If you are creating new documents that are effective Jan. 1, 2025, make sure to reference Fermi Forward Discovery Group, if applicable.
  • You do not need to update documents dated prior to Jan. 1, 2025, if they are archived or no longer current or valid.

For websites, updating the logo and text should be sufficient.
For licenses (for maintained software), consider adding a new line to the license. E.g.,

Copyright (c) 1992-2006 Universities Research Association
Copyright (c) 2007-2021 Fermi Research Alliance, LLC
Copyright (c) 2025 Fermi Forward Discovery Group, LLC.
