after reboot and login, the gui does not respond to keyboard and mouse clicks #568

After reboot and login, the GNOME desktop does not respond to any keyboard keys and mouse clicks, even not to power-off button. Tried Ctrl+Alt+Fx also.
The mouse cursor can be moved and the GUI updates (saw the clock ticks).

To Reproduce
Happened first time, don't know how to reproduce.
After rebooting, everything is fine, so far.

Expected behavior
The desktop to work...
