Fcitx 5/Mozc not working properly on Nobara 38

Using Linux for the first time and installed Fcitx 5/Mozc like in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwqTtGEN4vQ , however the only program where I'm able to write Japanese is the search bar in package manager, it doesn't work in Firefox or any other program I've tried, what should I do?
