Avid Pro Tools Carbon, latest firmware
Latest Carla version…I’m a new user.
Carbon has a dedicated Core Audio driver and most other apps switch
automatically when I change between sessions with different sample rates.

Story time:
long time ago... 2016
Protools HD12.6
+
Lynx AES16 pci + RME hdsp 9632 pci sound cards,
ASIO drivers,
Windows.
ProTools 12.6 could Not change Buffer Size on the fly, like other Daws,
ProTools was moving from TDM/DSP to CPU
from Real Time Bounce to Ultra Fast Bounce.
to change Buffer Size created crashes and other problems i cant remember
every developer pointed fingers at each other,
like spiderman meme,
the sollution for Sound interface manufacturers,
was to show only 1 buffer size in ASIO drivers,
even all were available outside in the interface Configuration Tool,
required to quit ProTools, change Buffer, and start again ProTools.
Today its a thing of the past...
but still some manufacturers drivers only show 1 buffer,
and do Not allow to change, only outside.
depends on the driver version.

I am constantly switching my DAW between 48k and 96k and Carla does not follow.
This would be a no brainer if you could make it happen!
