How drop <p> & </p> tags

I preparing Parsedown for special html formatting for telegram bot. There aren't using <p> tags at all and lists. For list it was easy

class GPTParsedown extends Parsedown
{
    protected function blockList($Line, array $Block = null)
    {
        return null;
    }
}

but how to drop <p> tags?

as well will be cool have kind of allowed list tags, and other tags just dropping
