Sync saves to the project config

If you update the sync settings, like changing a date range it saves it the the project config. I would argue the date settings (and maybe more) should not be saved in the project config.

What happens when production has settings disabled, and you always do project config changes on development and then sync with production? But you need to sync several times on production.
