Apple Mail doesn't work

While Hydroxide works very well on Thunderbird, I was wondering if it was normal that it doesn't work on Apple Mail. Is it also possible to have the same experience on iOS?

Otherwise, the official protonmail-bridge works on iOS, so long as combined inbox is used withsocat relay, as outlined here: shenxn/protonmail-bridge-docker#33 (comment)
