Prying from another node doesn't seem to work #15092

Erlang/OTP 27 [erts-15.2.7.1] [source] [64-bit] [smp:14:14] [ds:14:14:10] [async-threads:1] [jit]
Elixir 1.19.5 (compiled with Erlang/OTP 27)
same with OTP 28
Operating system

Current behavior
starting a project with i.e. elixir --sname server -S mix phx.server and connecting with a remsh, i.e. iex --sname local --remsh server will no longer stop on IEx.pry resulting in a Cannot pry #PID<0.48168.0> at .... Is an IEx shell running?
Expected behavior
It should use the connected iex node. Basically, its this old issue: #3392
