Suggestion from Anna Marabotti and @mihai-sysbio . Default pdf output when building site. Ideally created upon release and attached to the release. Possibly use https://github.com/zhaoterryy/mkdocs-pdf-export-plugin.

It would be cool if the PDF would be auto-generated and added to the repository, and then enable archiving of this repository on Zenodo. And then the website could use the "latest/general" Zenodo DOI.

edit: oh I see the Zenodo integration is already enabled. The link to Zenodo seems to be missing from the website though.
