Per https://github.com/aliceinwire/elivepatch-server/blob/master/elivepatch_server/resources/livepatch.py#L50, the portage debug is always turned on which makes the logs extremely verbose (8MB+ per request). It should take a --debug command line argument to enable debug logs and otherwise have it disabled by default.
