Following Posted Directions For Star Trek Armada 1, Game Hangs on Windows 11

I am following the directions posted here:

I download the zip file at the link at the bottom of the page, extract the 3 files to the same directory as Armada.exe.

Then, running Armada.exe as administrator, the game hangs at the splash screen and produces the attached log file.

I have applied the 1.2 and 1.3 Armada patches in order and am not using any Windows compatibility settings.

I am on Windows 11 build 24H2.

Yeah, that update is old. I believe there was an issue in that build. I updated the page with a new version.
