Connectivity Issues from connecting to device from top os menu

What Happened?

There seems to be an issue with connecting to any Bluetooth device from the upper menu bar which also has notifications, wifi, sound, and settings. Connecting to Bluetooth there does not work and produces an error message.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Hover over the Bluetooth Icon on the default upper menu in the top right corner.
2. Click on a paired but not already connected device (e.g., headphones) to connect.

Expected Behavior

The expected behavior should mirror that of the main area in settings and connect to a Bluetooth device. That area works fine.
