So this is just a wrong synchronization context. As you see from the stack trace, something's being called from the thread pool. You'll need to switch to the UI thread in there, I guess.

It depends on your UI framework. From the stack trace, it looks like you use UWP or something like that. Sadly, I'm not familiar with it.

In WPF or Avalonia, the mechanism to switch to UI context is called Dispatcher.
