Toggle visibility of the auxiliary preview/debug tabs on/off with the toolbar icon

Perhaps use a different icon, e.g. hdr-weak/hdr-strong

Consider using larger part of the screen for the tabs panel (or divide the screen horizontally)
Further consider separating the "preview" tab (HTML) from "debug" tabs (TEI/JSON/Changes), as they serve very different purposes

could you point me to where i need to add the i18n key for the toggle action?
