auto centering long lines - how to fix?

hello - center by default option is OFF but for some reason text longer than one line is centering on the slide ...

what CSS do I target to fix this? I have had it happen in several of the themes for this plugin. thanks ...

open the dev console, and use the explorer to highlight that centered text to see why it is being centered. I don't know why it would do that off the top if my head, but that should help you see where the style is coming from.

ok. I am WAY out of my depth. But what I see is a .cm-line -- a bunch of .cm styles

... but no .cm in solarized.css

also when I highlight in obsidian, it says
div.cm-line 552x28.5

I was hoping I could just tell that style to align-left?

ETA -- long lines do not center when they are part of a list

You're close!

You need to find the line in the preview (not obsidian preview, the slide preview.. which is tucked inside an iframe.. ), not in the note.

(the cm styles are code-mirror for your source)

I fixed it!

there was an inline style justify-content: center

so I googled and added text-align: left !important at .reveal .slides section

now every page that had unwanted centered text is fine! if I decide to center my headings I can always go back and put in another !important I guess

idk if there is a better way to fix it?
