deep-diff is unsupported but we can't really declare datum-diff as the replacement until it has gained more usage.

i'll leave this open for now, though, as we could still add deep-diff to the manifests if there are other existing replacements, and add datum-diff to the list later once it has more usage.

for example, there's also microdiff

datum-diff is a direct copy of deep-diff which was unmaintained for 7 years before the repo vanished.
It works as a drop-in replacement, while microdiff is a totally different implementation.
Overall, im seeing microdiff has fewer config options and major differences in how array diffs are returned.

i have no doubt microdiff is a good drop in replacement, but we can't blanket recommend it to the ecosystem until it has more usage.

i meant meanwhile, i wouldn't be against adding the other established options. then once datum-diff has gained traction, it can be added alongside.
