I came around flatnotes while looking for some simple Evernote alternative. I like the simplicity, looks all good so far.

However it seems there is no mobile app (Android) available, so no way to work with the notes offline. I tried to install it as PWA, but it doesn't help - it still works only when there is an Internet connection.

Is mobile app something that is on the roadmap, or how can I access and edit notes while offline? Thanks!

bump.

Can anyone kindly suggest how to work with notes locally on a phone (android). For example make edits in airplane mode, later sync when there's a data connection again please?

many thanks in advance.

There's certainly nothing currently built into flatnotes for this. I can see it would be useful though. Just a fair amount of work to implement. I'll flag this as a suggestion.

Hello @dullage,

Wow thank you. Now that's a responsive developer - you must be great to work with for a dayjob!

I'm just messing about in my local network but I tried a few user-space work-arounds. They didn't work, trouble is that they'd need a way of updating the server but I wonder if they'd be a start = download the whole "website" for offline browsing -and/ or- create a single-site-browser/ web-app version on the android device. Neither of those seems like a replicable approach or a programmer-y solution.
