What gets stored on disk with SSD Data Tiering?

From the docs:

Dragonfly's data tiering focuses on string values exceeding 64 characters in size. When enabled, these longer strings are offloaded to the SSD tier. Shorter strings and other data types, along with the primary hashtable index, remain in high-speed memory for rapid lookup.

Do "longer strings" include list elements, hash values, stream field values, or other strings that are components of another data structure? Or does it refer exclusively to SET my-key {long_string}?

It's only strings currently, not other data types.

Is support for other data types such as hash planned?

Currently is only for strings. We will expand the supported data types in the future but I can't give you an estimate at the moment :(
