Geneva city missing and Kanton cities missing? #555

I was looking for the city Geneva (Genf) in the records, but could not find this city of Switzerland
Is it missing because it also happens to be a state (Kanton)?

Same with New Work. There's no the city in the database. It has three Moscow cities though.

I'm trying to find a DB for using with autocomplete. Does anyone know a decent city DB which can be used for autocomplete?
