Hello!, I stumbled across this, We have several Peertube sites up for clients and are looking for ways to expand to TV's. This looks like a great start. I sideloaded Thorium and Videos play fine, but the navigation on Google TV is in place. I tried your app and the navigation seems strong and a good start, but Videos do not play. Is it possible to rebuild this against the newest Thorium and see if this could be a proof of concept?

Thanks for your consideration,
Steve

Thanks. I stopped working on this after too many difficulties with getting into the app store. Currently I'm working on the lightning network monetization plugin, but I'll take at a look at this on my next day off.

There's probably been a lot of advancement in the leanback api. I've figured out a couple tricks to at least leverage redundancy to limit bandwidth hammering the hosting instance. The best solution would be a javascript based app that could run the p2p hls video player natively, but that would be a lot of work

Hi,

Since the official team is working on a mobile app with tv support and I hate duplicating effort, I doubt this will get any more development from me. Sorry.

A bunch of time has opened in my schedule. looking to restart this from scratch using the new tv compose instead of leanback. should have something available by the end of the month
