Allow for ssh with passphrase

Some users use a ssh key with passphrase, there is a cross-platform way of making this usable:

Maybe a first step would be to document a workaround.

In case git for windows is installed, you can use the following solution so a pop-up dialog appears where you can enter your passphrase:
microsoft/vscode#13680 (comment)
Just change the path /mingw64/... to the directory where you installed git, by default (I think): C:\Program Files\Git\mingw64\libexec\git-core\git-gui--askpass

When looking at this script, it seems this just asks for the passphrase and then writes the password to stdout.

One downside of this solution: if you have multiple repositories defined, you have to enter your passphrase multiple times.

Note apparently the credential manager is only for HTTP, and not for SSH. Following manual decribes how to setup passwordless login through powershell using ssh-agent:

An option would be to provide some kind of hook mechanism, where users can register actions to be taken just before vcs operations
