Currently users are allowed to login using a third party (twitter, facebook, github).
This has the advantage the user doesn't have to register or remember another password. This type of login has to stay, but we can discuss simplifications here.

The things to solve/enhance:

  • the schedule of users logging in with different email addresses won't sync
  • it's hard login on mobile

Ideas:

  1. if the user is logged in on the CFP website, it could show a personalised QR code the user can scan to login
  2. if the user is logged in on the CFP website, it could offer to email a link that should open the app (if installed) in a logged-in state
