Changing background image caroussel

Hi all,

I am taking the universal theme as a starting point for my new website. I am trying to change the background image of the first carrousel at the home page. I see this is part of the home-carousel class of the style .css files. (background: url('.../img/photogrid.jpg') center center repeat;). If replace the original photogrid.jpg image with a new one that has the same name (under ...\quickstart\themes\universal\static\img) the image will still remain the old one.
Any suggestions?
