Something went wrong - not installing on Chromium MacOS 11.5

I suspect is because I am using Chromium and not Chrome.

I get the following error message:

I've tried to change the settings to Wit Speech NOT MANAGED with a Wit.ai API KEY but it did not work.

I use Chrome Canary on macos 12.7.2. Had the same problem as you guys and I ended up solving it by checking the manifest location. Had to tweak the path to find the right location for NativeMessagingHosts and once I updated the path the install succeeded so check the path its trying to use for the manifest and check if its the right one.
